This huge covered yard was designed to cater for the large stock flow of a thousand acre pivot irrigated fattening block. There is so much that goes on within these yards drafting, weighing, drenching and all general stock requirements.

A diversion pen was included so that the stock could be sent in different directions depending on the task at hand. The stock flow was crucial in this operation so a lot of time was spent at the planning stage to ensure that this was going to cope with a job ahead and I am pleased to say that after five years we only had to adjust one gate. Full concrete floor all laid to falls which washed out into a wedge similar to what is built for dairy sheds. Excellent lighting and ventilation as well as closed in walls to the south and the east makes this a pleasant working environment.
